PAX East 2011 will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from March 11th through March 13th. If you are not sure what PAX East is, then scroll down for more information (including the link to the official site.)

In the past XoO members have met up for PAX Prime, and this could be another great oppurtunity for XoO members to meet and represent the community at a similar event.

There was some discussion in the SWTOR section about attendance and I thought it would be a good idea to have an open invitation to everyone at XoO. If you are thinking about attending or want to attend post here. I will update the attendance list and we can discuss the specifics.

    ***UPDATE***
This information is for the people attending PAX EAST. I have talked to DASH and he is willing to provide Xen of Onslaught shirts for a small donation of $10. The shirts are black with teal letters. The front says "Xen of Onslaught" and the Xen of Onslaught logo is on the back. The only size available is EXTRA LARGE. So, if you want an extra large Xen of Onslaught shirt PM me.

    **UPDATE**

    Hotel

If you are looking for a hotel I was able to reserve the Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge for $65.00/night. The hotel is approximately 3 miles from the convention center and is close to public transportation. In order to get the deal go to Priceline.com and enter Boston and the date(s) of your stay. Then click "Name your own price" and choose the 4th option "Cambridge" and select 2 1/2 stars. I entered a bid of $65/night and it was accepted. (Holiday Inn Express is reportedly the only 2 1/2 star in Cambridge.) The hotel offers free parking (not easy to find in the Boston area) and free breakfast. If you do not get it on your first try, wait 24 hours and try again. The hotel received an average of 4/5 from 104 reviews on Tripadvisor.

Why does PAX prefer the extremes of each coast? They like the ocean that much? At least have it in NY or Toronto. If they ever create a PAX North, it'll be all the way by the north pole.

Boston isn't that far from NY, is it? Maybe it's just cheaper to find a venue there... at any rate, have fun but I'll be waiting for PAX West in September.

Yea, if it was in NY or TOR, the ticket prices would be way more, the 55 3 day pass is a steal really.

If En Masse had said they were going there two months ago, I would have gone.

I'm totally going to Megacon in Orlando in March and PAX Prime in Seattle! :)

If they don't already have everything planned out, it's not likely they'll go now. These things ought to be planned well in advance.
