Facebook to supposedly shut down on March 15th

Well there are rumors that FB is going to shut down forever on March 15th of this year. I personally think its a load of bunk but some people believe it. Well it seems as I was typing this Yahoo and PCMag.com has confirmed that FB is not shutting down, making this thread irrelevant. I'm still posting anyway.

 

Not shutting down, but its stock is going to become public in the coming months.

 

LOL! The day it closes is the day millions of people go insane because they can not post daily pictures of themselves and spam other people with friend invites.

Stock in FB would be nice. Its a really good investment. As for the communist plot, yeah I would have to agree. On a side note who wants to be my communist friend on FB? ^_^

 

goldman sachs just invested 500 million..for a fraction of FB stock. Goldmans is also selling the stock to the very rich private investors atm..before the IPO. That why the rich get richer.

FB shutting down forever is a very wild rumor..funny how these get passed around.

 

Meh, FB is FB not google. Advertising can only bring in so much profit.

97% of googles revenue is from advertising. If you want I can dig for the article I read on it. According to the wiki in 2006 it was 99% SOURCE but I'd imagine the extra 2% has come from licensing the android and googlemaps/earth over the past 4 years.
