TERA Online ApplicationHow old are you? 20 In-Game Name? Iowerth Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your primary class? Slayer Why did you choose XoO: I joined the WAR division of the game, and saw there was a TERA division also, The guild has been awesome in WAR, so it should be pretty awesome in TERA too. Previous Gaming Experience: in WOW, I have raided at 60, 70 and 80. My favorite by far was the lvl 60 stuff. Naxx in particular, the fights were very in depth. In WAR, I have 1 40, but because of all the different class mechanics, I have a smattering of characters that range from ranks 12-37. I have been playing WAR on and off since closed beta, and still really enjoy playing it. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? I beleive I will be a good fit because I am a very laid back person, but I can also be serious when the situation calls for it. I have never not fit in anywhere. What will you contribute to the guild? I can contribute a vast knowledge of Melee DPS, and everything that goes along with it. I have always played MDPS as my archetype of choice. Ret Paladin, Enhancement Shaman, and Arms warrior in WoW, Marauder, and DPS specced Blackgurd in WAR. I can also offer group leadership skills to the guild aswell. Unless someone I know and trust to be a good leader is there, I take control. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? - A little bit about yourself? I am a 20 year od metalhead from Canada, I play Bass in a band, and am currently working as the cook in a local pub. Activity level? 35-40 Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the TERA usergroup? Yes
Provide a bit more information and don't skimp on the details and we can get you setup with an interview. Normally NA recruitment is cutoff, but since you joined WAR I can make an exception, but you will need to go through the ropes again.
Alright, In WoW, When I hit 60 on my paladin, I was in a guild called La Lune Morte, I started raiding ZG and UBRS with them. I soon moved on to a guild called Stand Fast, Who were progressing through MC. I stayed with them for a long time, doing regular runs of ZG, AQ20, MC and BWL. I then joined another guild called Divinity, and was able to experience AQ40 and Naxx before Burning Crusade came out, Which as about the same time Divinity broke up. I rejoined Stand Fast for a while, but When I hit 70, I found that most of my friends from the guild had started their own, I can't remember the name of it, but I joined it. We pushed through Kara really fast, and were soon doing co-op runs of Gruuls and Mag with another guild because we were both pretty small guilds. I then took a break from playing, and when I came back, Paladins were everywhere due to he new changes to Ret. I decided to roll an Enhancement Shaman, because Everyone seemed to want or need them on Alliance. Upon hitting 70, I was immiediately accepted into a top tier raiding guild. I was soon running heroics non stop trying to get geared enough to run SSC/TK. After a while te guild I was in broke up and all my friends stopped playing. This is when I turned to Warhammer. I had joined a premade guild for the game called Volkermord, most of us were in the Closed beta and had pre-ordered th collectors edition, and we all went fairly fast through the ranks, and accomplished many server firsts. First T3 keep seige, first T4 Keep seige, first keep claimed, as well as first keep sucessfuly defended. We also had Bile, Blood and Lost Vale all on farm. When Wrath of the Litch King came out, a lot of my old friends from WoW started playing again, So I got it, and started leveling up my Warlock, which was one of my alts that I had got to level 70. That was definately the wrong choice. I got him to 80, started rading and realized how bad warlocks were. I raided Naxx 10/25, OS, and maly wih extremely sub-par damage output. By this time I was really fed up with my warlock, but didn't really want to level another toon to 80 to experiance medochre end game content. I went back to Warhammer and have been between that and my xbox ever since. If you need more info on anything please ask specific questions, unless you want me to keep rambling on. lol
looks better, i'll let one of the recruitment guys for TERA take over to finish up your application. Not sure if they will ask any more questions or just go straight to the interview.
sub par warlock??? whoah whoah, warlocks were number 1 dps when lich king came out, why did you quit before it got good? My friend plays a warlock and is always topping dps charts when running 25 icc.....not as much since cataclysm nerfed them a little but they still are nutty for dps How far were in the gear towards 10.5? I'm sure all dungeons were not fully released yet, but im still can't see a warlock wotlk doing sub par damage. Also how many sieges have you participated in for WAR?
It was a while ago, So I can't remember exactly what was wrong, but I tried out tons of different specs, and was using an elitest jerk spell rotation, and I was barely above the tank in most 10-mans. I left because the content at the time, with none announced as soon to be out, did not seem worth the time of leveling up another character to 80. I was in the full tier set from Naxx 10 with some other epics from OS, maly and heroics. As for seiges in WAR, keep seiges, I would guess around 1000, this is both defended and non defended, and city seiges would be somewhere around 100.
yes, pretty much the big deal with warlocks was if you didn't spec correctly then you really couldn't do the correct output. another huge factor was your rotation. just probin Iowerth because your only other post is the WAR app. We do want people for the Tera division that will be active on all fronts forum and teamspeak. I know you probably were on the alliance vent though a lot. noticed your RR as of the website update is 63 though. Will hear the last set of answers and then i will set you up with an interview.
To tell the truth, I'm not a big forum guy, I rarely post unless there is something that really interests me. I do check them for any guild news and updates, and just to see how everyone is doing. And yes, I am in the WAR alliance vent often, as that is where most of the guild members congregate.
wont be able to grab ya tonight, maybe someone else can if they wouldnt mind. watching my aunts house atm, and using her pos laptop
