so i started playing it roughly level 17 atm, do have to say I'm loving it reminds me of Vanguard only you can't fly and theres not as many bugs. I'm on the crushbone server if anyone wishes to know. its got a server pop of 250k not too bad and I always am seeing folks online even in the new areas.

IF you don't wish to pay $39.99 for all the expansions and 30 days, there is the free till level 80 or so but it limits you to only 4 races and 8 classes which there are 24 if i remember correctly.

ahh. EQ2. I liked the game except for the party xp loss.. that was a nightmare ESPECIALLY when you had people leaving the parties without actually saying anything at all.

    Those were the days.. -_-'

BUT.. it was still fun to play :)

I've got a level 70 Assassin on Nagafen. EQ2 is a great, underrated game.

What sucked the most is that some of the dungeons were a hell of a lot more fun as a group.

sadly I never got into any of the fun stuff. It's the first mmo that I was so stressed that I had migraines playing it. At the time, I had a tank class and I hated that I would have anxiety attacks cause of the xp loss.

I remember leveling three times at 24 and de-leveling.. :( (least I think that was eq2)
