The game just went into open beta. Pretty fun game, and its free. It is an FPS game and quite fun. You should all at least try it since it is free :) it kinda reminds me of Unreal Tournament, but more realistic. The damage is a bit higher than UT games though and only a few hits kill you, 1 hit from sniper in head which is nice. Class balance seems to be pretty good already, but I wish the sniper had a much better cloak. Seems I put it in and the cloak drains all my energy in only 1 second :( Right now its kinda useless. But getting good with the sniper and learning the maps balances out the lack of being able to use your special equipment. But even if you enjoy the assault, you can pull off some nice head shots for a 1 hit kill from pretty far away if you learn how to use the gun.

Here are some screenshots of my playing tonight, the first two are of the scoreboard and the last one is the server window before game start which also shows my total K/D ratio for the whole night. My first couple games I sucked pretty bad but then I started to get the hang of the game. Even though I dont have an amazing ratio in the first screenshot, I think you'll agree that with the team I was on it is pretty darn good:

I think someone else posted this a while back. It looks like Global Agenda, but with jumping instead of jetpacks.

Ya but Global Agenda takes 20+ hit from a weapon to die, there are no headshots, and is primarily an RPG that uses guns. Genesis AD is primarily an FPS with no real RPG elements in it at all. It has much more realistic damage than GA, and weapon physics, no retarded delay built into the game for snipers

I had a real gripe about players hopping..this is built in hopping.
The game looks good,Ill need to just get over my past feelings about hopping..ala counterstrike... hated it.

    Ill try this

Try playing BO (or any prone-using game) - bunny hop to prone for killing.

Or the smash-prone-button when you see an enemy every time.

I don't mind crouching but going from straight up to prone (with either no or too-quick animations) look dumb.
