Actually is a fun game. Haven't had any serious gripes so far. Would definitely be playing more but black ops has me by the (fill in blank) ~drag.
I'm really anticipating playing it at this point. For some reason I took a big interest in the comics recently so I've been reading those by the stack and waiting for a preorder beta invite to kick in rather impatiently. I didn't think there would be even a handful playing it here though so this is interesting
Interestingly enough, since starting the beta, I've had a huge interesting in reading some of the graphic novels. I think the IP is going to work in favor of both SOE and DC.
what have you read that you liked? my favs so far are mostly batman stuff soooo many good ones: The Man who Laughs, Long Holloween, Dark Victory, The Gauntlet, Death in the Family, The killing Joke, Hush, Under the Hood. Haven't looked too much past those and Batman besides the various Crisis works to see what they were about and a few early Superman or WonderWoman stuff.
Haven't read anything as yet. I wanna start with The Batman Adventures: Mad Love and then pick up something more recent. Joker and Harley Quinn are my favorites of Batman's villains, especially the former.
The Man who Laughs is one good pick then, kind of his first run in with Joker. The Killing Joke is a dark one that has all the flashback story for Joker's origin.

I liked Beta but I can't seem to get myself to get past lvl 16. I'm sorta having the same problem that I've had in most mmos these days in that I can't seem to find a single class that I really love. ~Drag.
yeah, that is where i am too. It hits a few humps here and there but in general is a good play. Oh and the world maps are fucking amazing.
the NDA has been lifted from beta... love the maps..the scenery..the look of the world in general and the look of the avatars. having some fun with staff and acrobatics and mental..mostly play as controller. Without the best pvp gear..I get seriously owned by the players that do have the top gear.
