It came out today, who picked it up? There doesn't seem like a lot of hype for it. I didn't know it was out til I saw a commercial on TV. I almost thought it was Vaporware.
racing games are still around..but kind of fell off the radar..unless your actively looking for them. I may have to pick up a new one for xbox.
Not a lot of hype because it took so long to come out, right? I'm not a big racing fan, but still eager to catch up on reviews.
one of the guys at work said it was really good so far, but for the amount of time spent on it, kinda disappointing.
I played it for about an hour and it was good so far. GTPlanet.net has some good forums with reviews and updates. Apparently the game is having multiplayer issue that will be resloved some time tomorrow. I plan on putting in a ton of hours this week (I will be on in the evening for COD:BO.)
I played it a lot this weekend. Anyone who enjoyed the previous GT game will love this game. I want to give some tips though. -Cars in the Used lot are random and reset after 6 races/license tests. (GTPlanet suggests loading the license tests and then hit "next test," six times. This should provide 30 new cars to choose from) -Buy a rear wheel drive, 1990s, Japanese car to start -Do the B and A license tests -Do the special events -Don't buy cars you don't need -IF you have a car for one specific race (and it is already competitive,) don't do all of the upgrades. -Races cannot be "farmed" for money -To take a break, do the Spec B races So far I have found the ZZII to be the fastest car for the price. It is a Standard car, which means it can only be found in the used car lot. The best value for performance, MR engine, car is the Ferrari 458. It is a Premium car, which means the model looks a lot nicer, and is found in the Ferrari dealership.
I picked you up a (Blue) R32 for Xmas! It is level 2 but I think I can still gift it to you (once you have the game.) I will keep my eye out for a R33.
