I'm betting Merle led the zombies there. as far as that last episode, the jury is out for me. they ended in spectacular fashion, but I disliked the whole gun standoff, omg, wait - there's more than meets the eye here - wait - omg grandma is bossing this gangbanger around - wait - omg he's the janitor! he's not really hardcore. he's a nice guy! too predictable. I couldn't predict it all before it happened exactly that way, but I could tell that the writers were going to "surprise" us and it all seemed too forced. I am looking forward to seeing how they handle Andrea's freakout over Amy's death. that should be really interesting, although I'm hoping they don't play the tension out too far. there's a just right level there and the writers have already shown a tendency to play the drama out a bit too far. I have to say that I am really enjoying the show overall, as there is simply a shortage of good programming - everything is frackin' reality shows or NCIS / CSI / Law and Order / insert new cop show here. Walking Dead is turning out to be pretty refreshing in that sense.
SPOILERRRRR: I guess? I was waiting for Amy to turn and attack Andrea. Is that not how it works in this series or were they just.. holding off the turning part to emphasis the death?
In The Walking Dead the person dies from a bite, they get a fever for a while, and then they come back as a zombie. It will take a few days before Amy is up and about again. Most likely the partner guy will end up shooting her in the head, and the main character will kill his partner before he dies and turns.
Or so you think......They could be stupid and just throw her in a ditch. Or you could be right. I say they just throw her in a ditch because its to emotional to shot a family member or friend in the head.
Nope. That's more of an opinion. I'd shoot a family member if "zombie-itis" was true. Now, I would probably have to wait until they turned, but after that? Fair game. Wife and I already said to kill the other in "said" situation. Actions vs words, but - I wouldn't want them walking around being a zombie, although its probably not discussed in depth - they might retain some of their memories. I'd want someone to kill me.
yeh I thought about using tags but it seems that as this is a tv show we aren't wasting people's money by talking about what they should have already watched also, maybe Andrea just want's to wait til Amy's birthday to put one in her head - it was the next day, right? Happy birthday. Amy. die. again.
I mean honestly, if you see the thread title, you should know you are in for spoilage. Like bad cabbage.
Yeah I would have to agree. As for this situation. I a family member was bitten and still alive, then I would wait until they turned. I am not saying I wouldn't keep my eye on them but if they died right after they were bitten, I would pull the trigger. I expect them to do the same for me, no exceptions.
Right. Its hard though, if any type of hypotheotical situation that you could say you would pull the trigger, but when the time comes - would you? Its going to be hard no matter what, that's why there is a decision to be made - hopefully (and almost 100% sure) this type of situation will never happen. I mean, honestly - there's no virus or plague that would cause someone to crave human flesh constantly. I mean - if that was the case, the zombies would be eating eachother - which would be pretty funny. Maybe there's more to it, but in most zombie universes its never truly explained how it works. 28 Days/Weeks later did the best at it, the Rage Virus - was more about killing other than eating.. but.. still - why not kill ANYONE? Or eat ANYTHING/ANYONE? Yadda yadda, that's not the point of this thread. So I'll stop here. : )
Yeah sadly this will be the last "live" show I will be seeing since I am down grading my cable. This is also the last time I can enter the contest to win a "stagger on role" as a zombie.
Eh this episode... not sure how I feel about it... But.. it does open up the finale to be grander it looks like.
Yeah it was another emotional driven episode. Next one should be action packed if they keep up the trend. It was good, liked it, but the way the left that guy behind seems a bit empty to me like they left a loose end that may not get tied up.
I felt like the episode didn't really go anywhere. Was an empty 'filler' episode for the finale. Let's hope next week makes up for it.
