Do you even have to ask why "Only 12000" were made.

It actually makes the renault kangoo car look better, and I didnt think anything other than an industrial car crusher could do that...

Looks kinda like a space capsule, but it's got four wheels, so it'll do the job ;)

Didn't really think about that. Parts will probably be rare, hopefully it won't break down on ya, doc!

Kinda reminds me of Pawn Stars when they get things restored haha.

Its a Nissan..so off the shelf Nissan parts for the undercarriage and drive train..its a 1500cc.
No problems for parts except for the body and some interior...which has been customized already...New Interior and leather seats.

It was only sold in Japan..some made it to new zealand in the gray car market. Many Japanese cars end up here after they are 3 years old.

Every one sold was sold to businesses..they advertised on the sides of them...McDonalds bought hundreds of them..very popular delivery cars too.

The friends Im buying this from also used it that way...his wife runs a Buddhist retreat...so it has Buddha images on it. "The Lotus College"
....also Images of Tree Frogs to promote his video production company "Tree Frog" So its painted up really nice..

I wasn't looking for another car..but could not pass on this fun car.
Im getting it for $1000 NZ..which is about 700 US..the brand new tires and new interior alone are worth that.
The car is on the other end of New Zealand...Dunedin on the south tip of the south island...I'm on the north island in Wellington....900km away as the crow flys..but the roads are not so straight.

My first job will be in a few weeks in Dunedin...photographer for a conference...Ill fly down...work 2 days..use the paycheck to buy the car...take 3 days to drive back thru the southern alps...

wish me luck..huge mountains...two lane roads..one lane bridges...and curves and more curves....in that thing..that "car".

You are one brave man thats like riding around town in a Golf Kart. I need some metal between me and whatever I'm going to hit.. It looks cool though maybe paint a Red Cross on the back make it kind of a mini-ambulance.

I should buy all 12,000 and use them for a "big boys" bumper car arena :p

But seriously, if you look around a decent ammount around where I am you can find Honda Accords with a pretty nice interior and in good running condition for only $700-$1000. Why would you take something like that for such a high ammount? I dont think I would pay more than a couple hundred Dollars for it at most.
