Minecraft Pictures and Recipes!

Here's a thread so we can compile our pictures of our creations. Also maybe post some more harder recipes, or anything cool you may have found out.

I'll post some pictures later of some stuff I built.

 

I happened to make a compass with some red dust in the center, and an iron ingot on the North, West, East, and South sides of it.

Also not sure what it is, but it looks like a checkers board on the side and a slot for mail perhaps. I surrounded a diamond with wooden planks.

Anyone know what it's purpose is?

 

it's a jukebox. There are 2 records in game, both of which you can spawn since enemy death doesn't work as well as it should in order to get the records.

I use the Print Screen button, but I also use printkey to capture just the active window personally.

Ok I completed my skyway! took just a bit of stone to do lol

 

Gah I can't connect to the actual minecraft server to log in! I need to finish my town! lol Got the itch to make make make!


-Edit, their site seems to be down also, google says a bunch of people are having trouble connecting so I don't think it's just me!

 

while I can't connect to minecraft.net I am still digging in our server... and digging... and digging.

 

I can get on MC.net... o-o

 

I have the server set to "offline-mode" meaning it doesn't verify anything with the minecraft servers. As such you should still be able to connect just fine.

 

I also keep crashing when on our server. A lot more than usual too.

 

Yeah, ever since I built the stairs to the Skyway, i have been crashing quite a bit.

My number display. It's a set of 9 switches that light up the display for that number. Here it is with all switches off:

The inner works of the display are a mess to look at, so I built one circuit above ground to give an idea what's going on. There are 13 of these underground that route between the switches and the back of the display.

 

Wow impressive!

 

I kinda want to get this game now..

 

Has anyone created larger explosives? I want to see someone blow up a mountain.
