Blizzard does have a warning on the loading screen though.. heh, something about going outside and taking a break. They cover their asses apparently.

And GW tells you to take a break during gaming!

But really ffs heaven forbid someone take responsability for their own actions. These sort of lawsuits disgust me. This sort of BS will lead to you getting kicked out of your games at regular intervals after log on.

I forget what game did that... after 2 hours of playing it booted you and you had to log back in. It was so annoying.

*tries to think of the name*

    Nope, I got nothing.

When the game launched here it would kick you at 24 hours.

Has someone sued coffee and energy drink companies for failing to warn about caffeine addiction yet?

Of course, this is a totally different scenario - he's just trying to find a way to get a settlement worth enough so he can spend the rest of his life playing Lineage. If he actually cared about anything or anyone else, this would never have happened.

Yeah its really stupid what people will do to get a quick buck. The act of frivolous law suits just shows a lack a self control and decency.

What I find interesting is this guy most likely had to get a psychological evaluation which he had to leave the house to do. I wonder if he actually went to the court room?

I admit when I was younger I would drop everything to play an MMO. I would get pissed and/or feel bad for missing a raid. Call in sick, ditch school, ect. This guy is 51 years old!
