Meh, F2P is bad.

 

Disagree, depends on the game. LoL does a good job with it.

 

LoL isn't an MMO and any F2P MMO can't hold shit up to a triple A MMO.

Seems like this should have been a Starcraft MMO the graphic for the game is the same font and color. The crystals that the enemies drop also look just like mineral deposits.

 

For a free game looks pretty good, and its an MMOFPS which I love.

 

Is it going to be GW F2P or micro transactions F2P?

Watch the 10 mins of gameplay? looked pretty good. Reminds me a lot of borderlands.

I always wished I had played Tribes. It seemed like a lot of fun. This game looks fun too, and really pretty.

 

I ran a tribes guild..The Upright citizens brigade...
on the official rankings page..we were ranked in the top 20 guilds...low as 17..high as 10

on a individual basis..I was in top 30 players...22....UCB Bongboy

to join my guild you had to use a name from the Upright citizens brigade tv show/stage show/or comedy troupe

cheating was rampant..so take out half those above us as cheaters

 

This looks like fun. Can definitely see WoW designer's influence.

 

Looks cool. I'll reserve judgment on the "FTP" though since there is no such animal.

 

I normally can't stomach a 10 mins of game footage, but this kept me intrigued. Reminded me of Planetside on steroids

 

It's free, its fps, and its guild vs guild. I say we show overwhelming interest and get a guild invite!

 

Micro transactions thus I'll only play it once I'm bored and run out of other options. Since adding micro transactions effectively takes skill out of the equation.

 

Microtransactions does not equal buying an edge. A lot of games do just fine selling cosmetic stuff only.

 

I have yet to find one.
