But they also had Elite on the NES (and the original mario trilogy), just for those 4 games twas an epic console.
Superman on the ATARI ST. Never reached the second stage. (by comparison I can do Ninja Gaiden Black on Hard mode to give you an idea of my skills/persistance if the game is worth it)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Ikaruga or Anubis 2. Ikaruga is super hard and it's still one of my favourite games today. I played it yesterday. Anubis 2 is the worst game I've played recently. I actually own a copy just to commemorate how bad it is. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SUSPEND THE SEAL OF QUALITY, NINTENDO! However, excluding ET for Atari ('cuz it's the worst and the hardest, hands down...you can't win and there is no game in there! And it breaks! Constantly!), King Neptune's Adventure for the NES is probably the worst game I own. It came out when all those asshole companies were making unlicensed NES games. It is one of those unlicensed pieces of garbage.
If you mean Ecco, that was on the Genesis. Most frustrating game I've played is probably the original TMNT on the NES.
Speaking of Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 3 was probably the best and hardest game I've played on the NES. Could never get to the end boss without more than half life, and usually on the last life before having to use up a continue, which of course, took you all the way to the beginning of the level.
in the topic of worst game what i can think about now is Grand Theft Auto *same old shit and easily bore me* and Unlimited Saga/Saga Frontier those games just bore the hell out of me
Yeah, Ninja Gaiden 3 was a VERY hard game!! Fun though, that series was tough to beat for action. I managed to beat 1, but I never tried 2, and 3 kicked my ass. Although, for action I absolutely LOVE Gunstar Heroes. That game had the most epic boss battle to ever grace the Sega Genesis! I will never get tired of that game!!
