Blacklight: Tango Down An interesting FPS coming out in a download only format this month or the next for $15.00 USD. I think it's a nice price point to get people to at least try it, though after my stint playing Bad Company 2 I'm not really looking for another FPS without destructible environments. _@:
It's fun. Normal co-op mode was kinda easy [sokar + me did fine, and there's room for 2 more players]. Private matches are good for learning maps and testing shit. Zero recoil on guns is a nice break. Visually nice. Experience system. Gun modification/perk system seems good so far [though I haven't experienced it in open multiplayer so...]. Achievement system. Standard shit for FPS games seem to have been done well. As for negatives... grenades don't travel far. The spawning points have automated turrets to ward off camping 'em, but some of their placements aren't very good, or are too good.
Graphics are good. Just as good as MW2 in multi it seems. moneda said most of the pros and cons. The only other con is that there's not enough people to play with yet =P The game is 15 bucks! Get it!
Decent enough for me. Not high enough to kill your frame rate, not as good as MW2/BC2. Other annoyances: (1) If you're in a match and a friend invites you to a different match when you accept it will remove you from your current match and then try and put you in a slot on your friend's match. If your friend's match gets full while you try and get in, however, you're left not playing. (2) Matches are hosted by players, like MW2 matches. You already know what kind of lag issues come with that shit, right? Connection FAIL: Random shot:
WTF! Catch me squeezin one off on the console once! and you go and spread it around the internet like kyoji's mom in the red light district.
