I ran the test and got like a 200 :( my PC couldn't handle it. I"m buy a new PC specficially for this game. Can't wait to play it oh and brink. Supposedly the benchmark isn't fully optimized so keep your figures crossed.

I ran the test and got a 2.8k and I was so sad -sad faise sad faise- then I let my gf try it on her PC and she has a quad-core processor, and GTX260 GPU, and she got a 3.5k, and she has a HDMI monitor. So, I'm sure the game wont be that demanding, I mean how could it be a MMO needs a better GPU then 260GTX and a quad core. We'll just have to wait and see. ALSO her brother tried and he has a better quad core proccessor and a GTX295 GPU and he didn't even get a 5k

for the ones that got into the beta, you sons of bitches, SONS OF BITCHES! Ahem, congratualtions looking at the video from Alpha-----> Beta it seems like it's a lot more fast paced then Alpha, any feedback or you guys still under an agreement for beta?

I'm buying Collector's Edition for SURE, also it comes out (factoring in the 8 day headstart) on my birthday, hopefully I wont be in school by then. =[ training to become a LVN gonna take care of some foos in the hospital.

Still curious about this as well, Ofock. ;]

I'm assuming this is sarcasm, but it was still a very fun game if you had a lot of people to play with and always had a static group. It still has subs and people are still playing it. Just because it wasn't such a huge success in the West (although a lot of people did play it when it launched over here, still do) doesn't mean it wasn't a success.

    Ah, cool.

I'm still running an 8800gt in my rig and I think I got around a 1.6k.

Upgrading my entire PC 'cept my gfx card cause it runs everything I play run now exceptionally well. Will wait to upgrade when prices drop / games become more demanding on my system, such as this game.

Also ran it at 1080p on my monitor, didn't try on the other setting.

Yeah my last card was terrible compaired to my new one it was sad.

Also yeah for people who dont know the 8 day head start is the sep 22nd while none CEs will start sep 30th. so if youre a big FF fan and even more of a ffxi fan id get the CE just for the head start the token (its like an Authenticator wow uses but they stole it from ffxi :p ) and the ingame item IMO makes it worth it.

Are you sure your pc can handle onlive as well as the latency that comes with it?

Yes it's supposedly going to be cross platform. Although I'm not sure they're going to follow through with that anymore. I mean who wants to play with people who already have 6months play time? By then I'm sure most people will be doing endgame kind of stuff. I mean it still could happen but if you're in the dilemma I'm in with my friends/family, we wanted to play together, I'm on Pc and them on PS3. I'm not going to wait 6months hahaha. We'll have to see though.

It doesnt seem to matter some people enjoy it on the ps3 or the comp and you can log onto your toons on both comp and ps3 (not at the same time) atleast thats who ffxi was.

Well issue with this game is that most peoples PCs can't run this game. =[ Which means spend money to build a better PC or just wait. from what I've seen most peoples PCs aren't that up to date, which is fine because if it wasn't for my luck I'd still be using a crappy e-machine computer I've had for about 8 years, also it might cost a bit to upgrade to play FFXIV, we'll just have to see though. Hopefully Square Enix is gonna say, "Early April fools! The PS3 version of FFXIV is here on the same day!". Though I doubt they'd really do that haha.
