That was just amazing. The graphics look top notch and the gameplay looks new and refreshing. The gameplay video added was also very polished and it seems like they have been working quite hard on this game.

Wonder if 5th/6th edition BT codex will be released along side this game. It is probably about 2 years away or so.

Game looks good. Can't wait to see more on how abilities work etc..

Horus Heresy is a good series with the exception of the Dark Angels books, thought they were done poorly, but that may be the DA player in me being disappointed. Gaunts Ghosts series is phenominal and I recommended it highly to everyone interested in 40K. Any book by Dan Abmett is great anyway, Gaunts Ghosts is the best of them IMO. Ciaphas Cain and the Space Wolves novels are really good reads as well. On the Chaos side of things Storm of Iron is highly recommended as is Soul Hunter and the Word Bearer novels.

Gonna go pick up Dan's "Damnation Crusade" about the Black Tempars. Is it good?

Dan Abnett is the best author on WH40k books imo.

I just finished 'Ravenor The Ominibus" (by Dan Abbet).

    Awesome read.

Edit: Is this post related to the Dark Millennium post, or 2 separate games?

The game deserves as many threads as possible :p unless they fuck up with only 2 factions.

Given that the game is not due for release for some time (I believe projections indicate 2012), it is likely what we saw is just what they have cmpleted to date. Hopefully other chapters and legions will be represented but I don't think it is necessary. Given that it is a series of worlds to be fought across it would not be uncharacteristic to have several chapters/legions involved.

Went to the bookstore and got Legends of the Space Marines and Cain's Last Stand. I'm missing Death or Glory and Duty calls for that series. Last time I read WH40k their were only three novels in the series.
