Well, I haven't been around for a few months lately...I see I've missed a lot around the site. I love the new look, sexy as shit...Great job to everyone involved. And if no one was involved...Great job Dash at manipulating the powers that be to create something so magnificent.

Anyway...My absence has not been without reason. Firstly, I have recently begun a brand-new relationship with an amazing woman not too long ago..But we have been friends for quite some time. I'm sure the people closer to me know about my last relationship, so this new one is an important step in my life. At the same time, the rest of my life is taking a huge turn. I am planning on moving soon up North to Sudbury, Ontario...This is not only where my girlfriend lives, but the majority of my family, whom I am not exactly as close as I would like to be with. I am looking for a full-time job there as we speak, and I have received word from an old friend about an audio game-design position..So I'm looking into that as well. I am gone this next coming weekend to Sudbury, and when I do...Another major life-shift will be occurring...I am going back to school.

I'll be heading into Cambrian College to see about Police Foundations, and possible September (or January) enrolment. So I'll be starting a whole new career path very shortly.

Many of you know I'm a pretty public person...So I just wanted to fill those who are close to me in on just a few of the major changes going on in my life. For those who have been hurt or seemingly forgotten these past few months due to my absence...I hope this sheds a little bit of light on as to why...And I am sorry. But I am still here and a part of this great community, and I don't plan on going anywhere...I just think my role within the community for the foreseeable future be of minor significance.

    I love you all!

Hey, everyone goes through RL shit, so it's all understandable :)

Grats on the new GF, and good luck with the job hunt and career change. Never pictured you as a cop, but you'd probably do great heh. A high school buddy of mine became a cop several months ago.

    lol...:)

Pdog..great to see you back...even better to hear things are going well for you.
    A new love..new life..carreer change...getting closer with family...all wonderful.

You as a policeman..I can see it..Id never have guessed it. My nephew is enrolled in the police academy now..he loves it.
I know you had your heart set on game design but maybe policeman would be more fullfilling.
    Just stay safe..
I wish you and yours all the best. Good Luck.

Great to get an update from you PDog! Always nice to hear what people are up to outside of the little online world we all socialize in normally. I just looked at your page and you are only 1 day older than I am O.O I also ended up going back to school for something else totally unrelated to what I went to college for (Police Foundations). Started my new path about 1.5 years ago and in the past 2 have had my life turned upside down so I can definitely feel for you. Quite a few of the friends that I was in PoFo with are now Police Officers and immensely enjoying it. Some are also working at Bruce Nuclear as ERT. I decided it wasn't the life for me. That being said, whenever I get together with them I always have some yearning to go back to it. Just the same as still wishing to go to Afghanistan but not having time to commit to workup training and deployment again.

Good Luck buddy and keep us updated :)

I'm really not sure yet at the moment. As of right now (Which of course I still have 2+ years to think about it) I would prefer city police, like around the area in Southern Ontario...Hamilton police for example. My dream besides being in game design was always to be SWAT..And to strive for that. So any way I can become that in the many years I'll be a cop...I'll be a happy PDog.

Grats on the new hunny and not a bad career choice either. With all the unemployment, I'm sure the crime rate is going up, so job security in law enforcement shouldn't be a problem

MP? better? :O You should be a comedian mon ami. For what it is worth I have had a few friends hired on in Hamilton and they love it. Every time I speak with them they always tell me how much they love it. It is definitely a great job if you are able to handle some of things you will deal with and live that kind of life. It is not something you can go into half heartedly.

Personally id rather deal with military guys who are drunk on a base causing a bit of trouble or searching for a troop awol, rather than knowing the best my day is going to get is if i get a call from some guy beating the crap outta his wife cause she broke his crack pipe...(although that does happen in the military lol)
