    6 Days till E3!!!!

I've never been so excited for E3 in a long time. This is the first time where I'm actually gonna make some time for watching the live feeds and looking at all the twitters covering games I'm waiting for.

My most anticipated is WAR40k obviously, Vindictus, TERA, SWTOR and Project Natal.

I can't believe both Sony and Microsoft are stupid enough not to include Move/Natal as standard equipment with their console, but sell it as an add-on.

It must be because Eye Toy was such a resounding success ... not.

They are aping Nintendo, but can't even get the basics right : the Wiimote is included with the Wii. Start from there, then expand. Sigh.

sucks that ArenaNet doesn't support E3 so we won't see any info on GuildWars 2.

Alright there better be some fucking info on kingdom hearts 3, a new legend of the dragoon, and Final Fantasy XIII Versus.

Not interested in either motion controller because they did the innovation too late. These guys will probably be rolling out new systems next year or the year after.

Also Microsoft better come up with some new media standard because Blu-ray destroys DVD-R's. Seriously its ridiculous that the 360 games even do full HD as its so limited by space. I love the console but it was never meant to be an HD system with the way Microsoft limited everything. DVD-R's are a thing of the past and the 360 can barely play any media on its own with out trans-coding done from the PC. I mean look it didn't even have AVI support from launch they had to include an optional update just to do that.

To me Sony just has so much space right now that they should use this E3 to really pull ahead of everything.

PC have doing HD graphics for a long time before consoles. And they didn't need BluRays. They still don't.
Even the first Xbox had HD games.
    Storage space is irrelevant.
If you're too lazy to switch discs once in a while, get a modchip and put all your games on an external hard disk :)

Yeah, HD graphics are just polygons scaled to a higher resolution. They don't have anything to do with storage medium or size. Only higher-res textures would require more space, but considering textures are just bitmaps, that's hardly a factor =P

Also, the 360 isn't capable of "full HD" (1080p), it can only upscale to full HD.

Natal isn't a motion controller a la the wiimote, its more like motion capture technology.

The definition of HD changes about every 5 years or so they called some TV back in the 30ies HD by today's standards any thing below 720p is not HD. In a few more years anything below 1080p will not be considered HD. And a few years after that any thing not beamed directly into your brain will not be considered HD

Also considering how cheap large SD storage is getting I doubt we will have to worry about disk and drive based storage for much longer.

The 360 has a 10 MB frame buffer, thus it can output a true 1080p image.
The problem is if you want to do special effects such as 2xAA on it, as it raises the memory requirements.

The Xbox had a few 1080i games, and the PC has a bit more :D

The only reason why Natal is on my radar is because it's not a stick I wave around like a idiot. It actually captures your body heat and can tell the difference between one person on the screen and another.

It's pretty epic technology and I think Nintendo should take notes :p. As for them coming out with new Consoles, I wouldn't doubt it. It's about that time but it doesn't mean they can't port Natal to their new system and possibly even package it with the xbox 360.

Can't really blame them for not packaging the natal with their system when they haven't even finished it lol. If we had to wait for them to finish natal to get the new xbox then we would all be playing PS3s right now because XBox 360 would still be held back because natal isn't ready yet.

Natal sounds just as retarded as the Wii remote. Skateboarding? Sure i'll play, but I have no idea how to even move my feet to do any of the tricks. I think it would be much easier with a remote at times. This is why anything virtual just doesn't do it for me. Not to mention the poor fat kids!

Yeah, it's sad that after 40 years of using hand-held controllers, someone's finally trying something new to break the mold. I'd much rather prefer everyone sit put with their thumb up their ass.

but the wii already does this, wii motion.
even the ps eye does it, but it just doesnt work.

seems like the microsoft should be doing something else than trying to copy something already done.

The Wii isn't a video game console, it's a toy. The Eye-toy and its whopping two games that supported it, were abysmal failures. That's why they're trying it I guess.
