I'd say the best would be a fire being doused with water, and the water forms your name... I dunno.

 

Or.... A dad and a small boy silhouetted over a small campfire. Zoom in on the silhouette of the boy. He drops his pants and pees out the campfire, then the boy looks up to his dad. The dad gives thumbs up outlined by the moon. Zoom in on the moon, which has a shadow of a fox on it, and spell out his name.

 

Firefighting and fatherhood in an avatar... uhhh I'm kinda drawin' a blank on that one.

thats got way too much detail for an avatar. I think you'll have to go with just firefighting or just parenthood (firefighting would be coolest IMO)
