Not silly at all. Watch a video with a cockpit of a race car driver and then watch a video with the view of an old lady driving. Which one do you think would look more boring?
Rotary engines ftw. I agree the combat looks slow, but it will never be super fast paced imo. Japanese put more emphasis into thinking and strategy, rather than hand eye coordination and quick reflexes. Plus watching other people play any mmo in videos is always boring to me.
Indeed. That's why most of the videos you'll see are always fast forwarded to some degree. Almost every good WoW video I've ever seen has always been sped up. I may be able to agree or not agree with the battle system in the coming future =P

euro ftl. The site opened on the 9th. The email sent out was for people through the 1-10 phases. We are in on the 10th phase so theres people from 9 other phases that got to play tuesday. Thursday we get to play.
Doesn't only sound bad... All I can say is... I seriously hope this isn't how it will be when released.
I'm currently not not in the alpha (wink wink). But the game is shaping up superbly, at least in my eyes. I loved FFXI, and this is improving on that formula.
