If they announce Diablo III I will have to soil myself. I can't quite place it, but I loved Diablo II. I just hope that if they do make III (it was bound to happen) they don't mess it up. I shall follow this thread closely...
It could be the beta announcement for SC II, specifically the official date that it begins. But D3 would be siiiiiiiiiiiiiick. I wonder how they would go about it? They couldn't make it cartoony....
Or maybe... just maybe... it is the World of Starablo??? Seeing as how 3 different things from their 3 games have come into play? lol Also if you look at blizz's hiring site, they have had a Top Secret job openings since like Oct or Nov of last year, so yeah, it is definitely something alright
I recall that the Starcraft 2 announcement involved a timeline. Perhaps something similar - but more subtle - is involved here with the symbols.
New one: Looks like a purple walrus or something. Maybe they were on to something, but the corresponding letter is "p", which isn't in Dashow, so back to the drawing board on THAT one. Don't recognise the new symbol yet, although it may be something to do with a goblin alchemist? The hole contains what looks more like falling snowflakes now than stars. P.S. New word is "cold", probably from Cold Plains. That nixes the whole Act 5 idea, because there isn't actually any area whose name contains the word there. If it fits with the theme, though... "Frigid" tomorrow perhaps?
According to diabloii.net (which has been a good source of information for nearly a decade), an inside source has confirmed that on June 29th Blizzard will be announcing the commencement of Diablo III. I'm not really sure I trust that a new diablo could compete with diablo or diablo II in today's world. I think the vast majority of people who like RPG's are playing MMO's. We'll see. I, personally, am still very skeptical that the logo on the blizzard site has anything to do with Diablo III and I expect it to have something to do with WoW. I've been this close to believing Diablo III might be coming before. However, I also won't be the slightest bit disappointed if this is a Diablo III announcement Click here for my diabloii.net source
The next part is up. Two eyes in the middle. Though where the right eye is just in that hazey part I can see a face/head that could be Deckard Cain? The rune looks like a Solar System or something. However, with the numbers from the purple monster thing or whatever, what if the numbers weren't for days, but for rune numbers instead?(Apparently theres an un-discovered Diablo 2 runeword?) Then again the whole "lost" theory. 4, 15, 23, 16? Nef, Hel, Mal, Io? (I don't know, something to get ideas flowing around abit more =) ) Maybe we're meant to pick out the obvious and go, "Yup that's it."
Though why would they have they Diablo 2 for WWI?(On the sidebar for the page thing) If they were going to just talked about SC and WoW =/.
I don't really understand your question or how it related to my post. I am skeptical that they are going to announce diablo III. That doesn't mean they won't have anything to say about diablo II. And I hope they announce diablo III, but I've been through this before so I'm not going to get excited until the actual announcement comes. Hope that clears it up. (If not, I really have no clue what you meant)

Regarding a number of people online, the new rune could be linked to Blizzard's 3 IP's, or the 3 prime evils.
