Hey, my brother released a game on Xbox Live Indie games channel

It's called JoyJoy, and it's a twin stick shooter. It was the #1 ranked US-based game, 6th overall in the Build.Dream.Play competition out of 20,000 (I think) or so entries.

Please check out the trailer at least, and rate it 5 stars It's only 80$ MS points, which is $1 US dollar.

There's 24 levels, but you unlock more features as you play, so you can customize how you want to play. It has drop-in/drop-out coop play on the same screen.

@dash: he can do a PC version, but I think he will wait to release it, if he ever does try to release on PC. He's too concerned about piracy, and the Xbox Live platform is where his focus is.

 

i didnt say it was beathazzard that was someone else. i said it was almost identical to bullet candy, only the graphics are different. posted a vid too

This game looks really pretty and alot more diffucult than meteors.

This. I also haven't checked the vids (at work currently) but involving music + beats reminds me of Patapon, if that's anything what the game is (just going by other comments).

 

Looks like fun but no 360 for me so will never get a chance to play.

It's the #3 top rated game XBL Indie game in Japan! woot! ~#16 or so in the US.

Anyways, if my RRoD didn't happen I would probably play it. But it does look fun

 

I think if I was an indie game developer id rather have my game going around like wild fire through piracy and getting my name out there, id think that could quickly open some doors, just my opinion however... and the concept of the game actually reminded me of the arcade style mini-game in super mario rpg.
