A friend told me about this game today, its being made by Rockstar Games and set in the wild west. I know that most wild west games that have come out have been horrible but this one looks pretty good from what he told me and from the features that ive seen in the gameplay trailers. You can be an outlaw or a sheriff, you can skin animals, hunt for bounties, tame wild horses, and many other things. I've been eyeing this game for a while. Will probably get it the week it is released, I'll see what reviews it gets but I'm pretty pumped. Glad to see such a fresh game in a recent world of overly-pumped-full of steroid space marines or "modern" soldiers.

reason there isn't a PC version is probably cause console folks would hate on us......only 16 players max in that HUGE world online....seriously thats a little fricken small the PC version would probably have at least 64.......but if I get it I'm rolling online PS3.....since I hate xbox pretty much now after seeing how weak it is compared to PS3.
yeah 16 players does sound pretty low for a huge world I imagine it will be pretty empty in most towns if there arent computer controlled npc's to fill in for the lack of players. How many players are usually online in other console games though? I know it sounds like it would be pretty cool for PC, it reminds me alot of Fallout 3 but being able to play with a controller instead of mouse + keyboard is pretty nice so you wont have to remember a million keys on the keyboard. there was a first one? Imma def pick this one up for the PS3. I think my online ID is Jetta242 but I'll have to check. lol. more Aion than anything else - haven't had the pleasure yet of online gaming with the PS3 since getting it this past winter.
Stayed up until 05:00am this morning playing it, slept 4 hours, woke up played it again for another 2 hours, got ready for work and now I'm regretting staying up, about to fall asleep at my desk -_-;
What happened it seemed like there were more Xbox owners on here now I'm seeing more PS3. Well I guess I'll have to go buy another PS3 and cop Socom while I'm at it.
I did pretty much the same thing, but not quite so late. Have you been playing single player or multiplayer? I've just been doing the single player for the time being (just got to Chuparosa[sp?]).
