If you need a good Network Color Laser Printer under $160 check out the Samsung CLP-315W, its selling for $129.99 from Newegg.com with free Shipping or $125 with free shipping from Officemax

I ordered one today from newegg :D as my Brother HL-2170W ran out of toner and the toner cost half as much as the printer cost me :D (which was $100 back when it came out). So I will be selling the Brother Laser Printer on Amazon (since its only Black & White) and upgrading to this Color Wireless Samsung Laser Printer :D

The Regular Price on it is over $240, some places like buy.com are still selling it for the regular price so for $130 shipped its a steal on a wireless color laser printer. The bad part is when its time to refill the toner lol, toner cost like $30-$40 each color... anyone know any good places to buy replacement toner for cheaper? or some kind of toner refills?

Each replacement color toner cost about $35 from newegg.com + shipping

Amazon is pretty expensive when it comes to ink and toner supplies though

if you put in the model numbers for the cartridge in pricegrabber.com though you can find them for as low as $32 shipped

Staples seems to have the best prices, and if you goto www.retailmenot.com you can find coupons for staples, they also sell coupons on ebay like $15 off $50

no exactly what i asked about... not sure how one would need to "research" how much a toner cartridge costs

results would be "cost per cartridge" like you gave but dividing it by "pages per cartridge"... so what i asked was if there was any testing on cost per page - usually somewhere between 2 and 5 cents per page in high quality print settings

each cartridge says it has a yeild of 1,500 pages so

    $32 / 1500 pages = 0.0213 (2.1 cents per page)

since its 4 toner colors 2.1 cents x 4 = 8.4 cents per page (if all colors used)

most Personal Laser Printers have a yeild of 1,500 pages per regular toner cartridge, The high yield cartridges like this one for my old Brother HL-2170W usualy have ~2600 pages per toner cartridge (it says the yield in the specs tab on the page)

Just got the printer today :D, it was pretty easy just

    1) took it out of the box
    2) hooked it up to the computer with a USB cable to setup the wireless settings and install the drivers that I downloaded from Samsungs product page
    3) took off the USB cable after I added it to my wireless network
    4) Printed out a test page

The Quick setup guide that was included in the box could have been better though, I thought that I would have to remove the safety things from the toner before I could start printing stuff out but there was no need. It also has a pretty small paper tray, and it sticks out a little bit from the front of the printer instead of being inside the printer like my previous laser printer that had a tray for paper that slides inside the printer.

The color quality is pretty good though, I wouldnt say that its HQ Photo Quality but pretty high up there for a laser printer (about the same as a regular inkjet printer).
