Saw this today as a popup on msn live messenger http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/35298469#35298469 its a pretty funny watch, reminds me of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
thats what I was thinking when the interviewer asked her "Does it appeal to grown ups" and Q: "Ok so plenty of parents have their kids do recitals and dance classes, Why do you think your dance videos took off so much, and especially in Japan" A: "I think because Im a westerner who has a big interest in Japanese culture, I think that its kind of an interesting thing for them to watch" I lol'ed, thinking... yeah right, how many westerners arent obsessed with Japanese culture? whats the real reason shes trying to dig out of you
If you check the related videos there is one from akihabara and it's nothing but a bunch of 30/40 year old dudes watching her dance. Very very very very very very very creepy.
