what a shitty superbowl with some pretty shitty commercials. And those who geezers need to stop performing their classics and making them sound horrible. And CBS is the worst channel to watch any sport on.
if by really good game, you mean really good 4th quarter. but congrats to New Orleans. Other than Mardi Gras and po'boys, they don't really have much to brag about.
they wanted a cheaper budget....like even the tv commercials where the cheapest that they ever have been
I missed the first half, but found the second half to be quite good. I live in Canada, though, so I don't get any special commercials, but most of the ones I saw online sorta sucked.
I heard on NPR it was the most watched show ever, Took over 'M.A.S.H. finale' of 2003.................
I thought it was a good game. decent scoring. was impressed with the fact there was the only turnover. gutsy onside kick call to get folks out of their seat to start the second half... the commercials sucked yes, and while I like the who, I agree, they don't need to keep ruining their old / good name by performing live anymore. but the game? it was good!
I disagree... mostly because I don't have an HD NBC channel, but FOX's cgi robot thing has to drag them down some too. Stupidest looking thing since Madden's "if you score more than the oppenent than you're probably going to win the game"
at least you don't fall asleep, like with the CBS commentators. You can't even hear the crowd noise. I don't care for the Fox robot, because it doesn't appear during the actual game.
TNTHD is the best channel for sports without a doubt. But if the game was on Fox you'd have to listen to Joe Buck talk, and I'd rather stab myself in the ear with a pencil than do that for 3 hours.
ooops, I said 2003 when I mean 1983..Oh well. Anywho, I don't watch many professional football games unless I'm invited to one, or the superbowl or some game that randomly peaks my interest. But watching the superbowl didn't seem to have all that cool camera work and effects that seems to have been the norm for many years now. What's up with that? Yes, I'm a noob!
Good thing I didn't stop by your place when I was in Atlanta last weekend then, woulda been boring, no?
