I got a question. I am a complete nublette when it comes to building. I understand the basics, but in the past I have had friends help me, or my latest I bought through alienware about a year and a half ago. I went laptop, as the best chance for me to get gaming time is in the living room with wife, so as not to pull to much real life agro. So I would like to do laptop again, unless I can get a wireless setup that could put my tower beside the chair, etc. Hard core, I know. So it makes sense for me to go laptop, but it seems off the bat I am looking at twice the price. Any thoughts?

If you want to be in the living room to game, you really only have two options that the wife hopefully won't hate.

Laptop of course or an HTPC, but an HTPC is really only an option if she's not watching TV at the same time.
