Ok, so recently all of a sudden, my internet has been going super super slow. Like dial up slow.

I go through the command line, and input ipconfig, it comes with all the mumbo jumbo that I need.

So I /release and then /renew and it shows up that it refreshed and renewed everything, however, when I go to my network connections it shows the 2 attached screenshots.

I have restarted, obviously I am still "connected" but the connection is so slow its not even funny. So I am at a loss here, I don't get it.

If you're using a router, and didn't touch anything please check the log to see if someone besides yourself is attempting to connect to your network.

The log? Well, I restarted my computer, and shut down the router for about a minute. I booted everything back up and it seems fine now. the internet Connection icon above the Lan or High Speed Internet part on the screen shots, is showing connected still.

So it seems to be doing fine at the moment.

Are you using a router (wireless)? Directly connected to the modem?

My desktop is connected to the router, which is connected to the modem, but it is wireless as everyone else in my house has a laptop

Try a direct connection to the modem. If that fixes it, then it's either your router, or someone on your network causing the issue.

If it doesn't fix it, it could be your ISP or a software issue with your PC.

rubius... is on a good start. but, lets start simple....are any of your laptops downloading anything? your network pwed? clean your temps, cache, and all the typical stuff. go with the basics. computer junkies sometimes over look the easiest things.

but after refreshing and its occurring again, it tells me that something on your network, your computer or not, is taking all your bandwidth. that.... or your card may be giving out even though its only a few months old... sad to look at it that way, but anything is possible. then again. it could just be your ISP providers problem.

it was someone on my net.. I put the password on, issues go away, I take it off, issues come back.. However, my brothers laptop won't connect unless there is no password on the router. Which makes no sense what so ever..

But anyways, I set up MAC filtering and only the laptops I let in with their mac address can get access.

Maybe your brother isn't connecting through the Wireless Zero configuration service. Proprietary wifi managers like Atheros' are known to cause issues like this. Make sure the service is on, then use the Windows wifi manager to connect. Try things like "forgetting" your network, then reconnect to it.
