Texas tried their hardest to lose, but somehow failed to grab defeat from the clutches of victory... so the BCS championship will actually be good teams after all.
Actually, I blame Mack Brown WAY more than Colt McCoy. WTF is he doing calling QB draws the 2 previous plays with time running out? RETARDED coaching imho. But HOOK'EM regardless! I know Texas will most likely get beat down by bama but I consider this a MAJOR win season to get this far when everyone thought this was going to be a down year for them after losing so many starters.
should be TCU in the championship game, not texas or cincy... Neither of those teams played well, yet TCU stomped their opponent easily.. come on now... each of the other 2 teams won by a point.. 1 point... so stupid.. But since TCU didn't make it, it should be TCU vs Florida not Cincy vs florida anyways..
I'm a TCU fan so don't take this the wrong way, but they need to face more higher ranked teams if they want to ever be taken seriously. It's easy to go undefeated if you're playing mostly mediocre teams and the BCS system takes those things into account.
so Alabama who beat Florida easily isn't in your championship game? your post makes no sense. I agree that Texas lucked into the game, but Bama beat #1 Florida 32-13. TCU beat New Mexico (1-11) 51-10... 41 pt win vs 1-11 team?? And Cincy? They won by 1 in a matchup vs #14 Pittsburgh, so thats probably as impressive as beating NM by 41. But, no, a shootout winner wouldn't do well vs a Bama or Texas D. There's a reason why Big Easy and Mountain What? conference champs don't have much hope for a championship appearance. They don't have any strength of schedule. TCU is 11-13 in bowls, Cincy is right at .500, and Boise State is 5-4 with 4 losses in the last 5 years (only win was in OT during that period).
no, no, I said it should be TCU in the championship game NOT Texas or Cincy... meaning that it should be bama and tcu But I understand where you are coming from. I am a diehard gator fan, but I feel for the small(er) teams that never get a chance to go to a title game due to not being in a strong conference. This is why a playoff system is needed... badly...
well, then don't say stuff like cincinnati is a "big team" since when? they are as small a contender as TCU or Boise State and have... seems more like you're saying "man, why did Texas and Bama win? it could have been my team vs a pushover..."
