You play everything. You're like Kyoji's right-hand man.

I do play everything but sadly rarely with kyoji.

The game is actually just a rerelease in which they updated the graphics, etc from a company that went bankrupt I believe.

It's def old. It did get canned, the new people brought it back. It's free. It's not fantasy. It's full loot/FFA pvpish.

Wow seriously craptastic graphics. This game better be free to have to watch those abortions of character modeling the entire time you're playing.

Other than the bad graphics, it looks just like the other 10,000 FPSRPG titles that have come out in the last couple years. Don't see what makes this one special... (except the 1990's graphics and obviously bad physics engine, of course)

What other FPSRPG games? Fallen Earth?

Never said this one is "special". But if you were wondering then the whole pvp system is player enforced. The "police" are actually player ran with patrols and guards that can add PP to players and arrest them if they have too many. If you become "Most Wanted" you can't buy anymore clones and if they run out your player is dead permanently.

Since when has an mmo had a great physics engine? oh yea, Darkfall.

I played it the first time around...it was .....interesting.
Hard to say it was fun...I was always dying..everywhere..all the time. Could not show up anywhere as the police and not get shot. Even police headquarters was always under attack.

The action was chaotic....it was hard to tell who was who when the fighting broke out.

Mostly I was ambushed...I was police.
I would be on patrol with a group. like at a shopping mall. No guns allowed in hand by anyone but the police. Turrents with alarms helped enforce that.

The people who intend to kill us could just stand around...guns put away....then at the right time..some take out the turrents..the other attack us..and be right on top of us when they pull out the weapons....be standing right next to you even. People running everywhere...which one has a gun?...I didn't always know.

I shot more than a few innocent shoppers that way. Spent time in prison for that.

thinking of that..it may have been fun after all.

Just wait for Earthrise. This game's graphics are 6 years old, eight factions will never work. Not worth the install. Plus, shouldn't this be in the upcoming games forum and not the general forum? How many years have you been in Xoo Sokar and that's how you treat us? You hurt me with bad graphics, I just bled from my eyes a little but it was totally pixellated.

Sadly Earthrise won't be out til 2012 the earliest I'd guess.

Everyone always wants the graphics. Since when has a game with good graphics come out and been a good game?

Yea AoC was AMAZING! So amazing and graphical that everyone stopped playing it. LoTRO? Same deal, less graphics. The others aren't mmo's but I guess they make a point.

the thing that stood out with face of mankind..was no NPC's....not sure if its still that ways.

And the factions were run by the players...the rules are made by the player base.
I didnt get very deep into how that worked. That made for more than one level of gameplay...you could win the popularity contest that I imagine the voting process was...and have some command powers..set missions..rates of pay...etc.

People didnt just run off to fight and patrol for just loot...you wanted to get paid for the missions...if I remember right you also got some sort of rank points.
