It's probably awesome on console. It's been "dumbed" down for it. Also console, no offense, has a cap on how good players can be due to the joysticks so it makes a bit more fun all around due to none of the instagib quick scope snipers.

    I wish I had a 360 so I could play it heh.

It seems that way about instagib snipers on console, but trust me, if you play Halo with the pros, you'll think twice about that statement. Even my brother is an instagib sniper in Halo.

The thing is, when you are playing on console, you are playing against other people on console. You can have a bit more impunity to peek around corners because your opponents won't be able to react fast enough with the joystick.

On a PC, there are lots of people who can move the mouse to anywhere on the screen with surgical precision. This is why lean is so critical on PC... it gives you a bit of protection instead of peeking around a corner into a machine gun or sniper.

I used to be one of the best at halo. I know how good people can get but there's def a cap. Top teams are always even theres never one player that will really stick out like in PC games where you get one guy on their team that can just domo everyone and the rest of the team is sitting on a shitty ratio.

This is the truth, some people knock playing FPS on consoles because its
different than PC's, well that's obvious.

Its still a leveling playing field because EVERYONE is using a controller, and that's why I don't mind it.

I Don't play FPS on the consoles for a very specific reason, I suck at them.... :p

Edit: except for battlefield 1943 (PS3) any way for some reason I can play that very well.

all the drivers show up for the GrandPrix...to their surprise they were all made to race with 1967 VW bugs.

Thats how I feel about MW2. I am sure it is fun and all, but not what I look for in a FPS. I want something better than the version from 2-3 years ago...not something worse and crippled. It is going to take more than a few new toggle switches and crome valve covers.

This is the first COD I have ever played, so for me, its utterly awesome.

I understand that folks that have played COD4 or any of the others that from what
I've read MW2 is pretty much the same thing, or worse, or same but better / nothing new.

Call me biased, but I'm having a blast.

You guys are all wrong. MW2 is fun. We're playing it and yeah it's not exactly like COD:MW, but it's definitely worth playing and it's definitely a blast. Be all stuck up and take your stand or whatever if it makes you feel better, but you're plain and simple missing a fun game. Keanureefer and Dubyusmaximus and I wish y'all were playing with us.

I don't think there's anything wrong with not buying a game that doesn't include the features you want.

I have no doubt that it is a great game. But the fact is I will not pay extra for a game that does not include features i consider standard in an FPS.

Sure but you sure also can't go on this huge tirade of freaking complaining that's been going on without playing the game. Trust me if you ever liked COD or COD:MW you'd like it even if you wouldn't admit it now.

I don't know what tirade you are talking about. The fact of the matter is that the game doesn't have what we want anymore, so most of us are going to look elsewhere. I am sure that the game is perfectly fun for what it is. However, I don't want to buy what MW2 is.

Furthermore, I am allowed the convenience of bitching, moaning, complaining, and assuming that I will absolutely hate the game without playing it because Activision has given me no means of trying the game without paying $60.
