CS 1.2-1.6 was p good. CS:S had retarded hitboxes and was just dumb.

Same here, I tried playing it a few times and it didn't feel right. Plus, you gotta admit it gets pretty boring playing the same scenario over and over, for years, on the same map, knowing where every dude will come from. It's just a matter of flash, run in, shoot, hope to get some kills.

Up until recenty you could stand directly behind a guy in CS:S and shoot him in the back of the head, and do 3 damage.

Red Squares around the opposing team? When I played there were no red squares and you had to look for people... is this a new feature?

The problem I have with the awp is that you can be running around with it and still get kills... it's a weapon that you should need to be stationary, and not just take your finger off W, you should need to steady yourself or something... like with COD4 where you can steady your self by holding your breath or whatever... DoD had some sway so you dind't have the crosshair on the exact same point all the time...
The AWP is fine as a sniper, but it's used far too much as a single shot bolt action assult rifle where people run around with it... I know people that can use that and the scout unzoomed and get kills. The snipers are just not designed well.

heh so far every review site has completely avoided talking about PC multi-player in their reviews.

That is a bit surprising but it's probably because there is nothing more to talk about.

Not much on youtube either but theirs alot on forums. So far the response isn't good.

The only thing I actually like is the low player limit.

Lost a MW2 sale here....I will not buy the game unless the no dedicated server and other important features are fixed/added/replaced.

I am sure in January (after xmas) when they compare MW1 PC sales with MW2 PC sales, they will get the hint.

But then I dont even know if my MW1 counted as a sale since it came free with my video card.

The problem is that there was no demo. So people will buy the game for the single player(hopefully not) but console systems have seen almost zero changes in their gameplay. This means that console will have plenty of sales, if not more if PC players are buying it for their consoles instead.

Though I'm still at a loss for why people buy fps games on console when they have a pc.

Most people I know who buy console games over PC versions do so because their PCs aren't as powerful as their consoles. Comfort and achievements/friends list are other factors.

Personal preference. I used to prefer console FPS over PC, and now I like them about the same. Gameplay has the same enjoyment for me in either system, but I prefer the flexability in PC because of dedicated servers, consoles, custom maps etc.

well so much for the boycott.....4.3 million first day sales record. I would imagine a large part of that is console. I've not seen the figures broken down...I didnt bother to look.

Ill borrow the game and play the single player just to see the "look".

I can guarantee that is mostly xbox and ps3. I'd say only about 500k of that is PC. I know a bunch of stores were out of Xbox version. One gamestop said he had 6300 orders for the xbox version.

I know very few PC gamers buy from Amazon but PC sales were only 8% of copies of MW2 sold

I have been playing FPS on PC since Doom 2.
The last console I owned was a Sega Genesis + 32x.

I recently bought the MW2 bundle 360 pack because all my RL friends were getting it,
and it was a pretty awesome deal (saved some money, ie).

I have to admit, I am NOT disappointed in the console version, even for
being a "PC gamer". I'm enjoying it thoroughly and haven't put it down when
I get home from work or on my off days.

Plus, all the bad press for the PC version didn't make me want to buy it on there, obviously.
