You guys might experience some issues with the new site from time to time as we are still ironing things out and testing things.

At this point this includes problems with things like Sigs, or Avatars or anything like that.

Please make a single post for each issue, and please indicate the problem in your subject line so it's easy for us to find.

Why dont' people like the rep tool? (it's not a hack, its part of vb)

we dont' want to go overboard with random assorted games like before I don't think... I was in the process of deleting most of them cause they had 1 - 10 posts over like 6 months time.

I think "Word Association", "Count to infinity" is fucking stupid and should be banned.

At least Kitten/funny pics have some content.

I think that is more a moderation issue then tech support, but you can start a thread about it here if ya want till we have something for that setup.

 

Since post counts will be nixed..that will solve some of that issue

 

an activity meter won't stop spamming though I don't think... it still requires you to post to keep your activity up right?

We will see I guess.. I was looking at mods earlier and might try to get that one installed tomorrow.

yeah this is a brand new forum that we started with an empty database.

If you want to change your name back to Jedimaster, we can do that for you though.

Anything rep can do the simple thanks post clicker without the thanks counter can do better, that's where we were at last, the only thing the postcount/rep/thx system didn't do was monitor and award the one thing we really needed to reward: Activity

So, for all the hopefully obvious reasons, Rep never escalates into a good thing although activity does... knowing that the future isn't difficult to plan.

if your part of a group you can change your title in the usercp under group mgmt I belive it is. (so you should find one for task force that lets you use it's title)
