Im a little biased to begin with...bought my first Razer about 8yrs ago...so. Regardless...I just found this today and OMFG!!! I know the majority here are MMO players, so this is right up your alley...also something for FPS players to consider if prefer bottons on the mouse vs. keyboard. I present the NAGA....
I'll probably pick this up. I love my Diamondback, but this is just too sweet. Lefties seem SoL on this mouse though..
I thought that this thing looked ridiculous! So funny. But I could see how it might help out MMO players. Depends on how hard the side buttons are to hit.
..ya dont even need a keyboard anymore. yeah, I didnt even bother checking he price. Im assuming it has built in memory since it can store different profiles....Id guess about 125$US ..had to check...same price as their other top of the line $79.99 Amazon Price: $79.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. This item will be released on September 30, 2009. # 5600dpi Razer Precision 3.5G Laser Sensor WoW o.0
uh... might be time to give my old logitech MX 500 and get one of these bad boys.. 12 buttons on the side.. mmmmmm baby...
i would say most lefties are more adaptive to using right handed tech, so not really. in fact, only mouse ive really used left handed was a trackpad on a laptop. i think at this point, the only people that could use a left handed version of this would be those young enough to not have been corrupted by earlier computers only question now is with that many keys, what's your other hand doing? maybe i shouldn't have gone there...
they need to add more buttons below the thumb buttons, where they are you can't hit them fast enough IMO... unless I missed it I didn't see any clips of the mouse actually being used or a hand using those buttons...
I already own the Razer Naga and have had for almost a month now. I managed to get one of the prototypes. I own the Razer DeathAdder (Witch i will be selling to Orome) and the Razer Lycoza keyboard. The Razer Naga is an absolute genious piece of work, although expensive it improved my overall gameplay massivly. Its no joke when i say i can play Aion online with just one hand. 17 buttons in total to play with and they are all linked in unison to the numberpad so the game's program blockers such as punkbuster cannot block it. In my oppionion it took a while to get used to, however now that i am to grips with it, i wouldnt change it for the world, worth every penny. Great for Call of Duty, makes switching weapons and tactics far more easy. Its not a problem to do mulitple things such as call in recon while in a fire fight with another player. Also, a big help i noticed was if you bind your lean left and right to the keys that best suit you on the mouse it is alot more accurate. Great for Aion Online, bind every move you have to your mouse. Perfect for PvP, you can quite happly run around your opponent with your keyboard and press your skills on the mouse, means you dont make hardly any mistakes and have a very clear advantage.
I've got Razer lachesis, and razer Exactmat mouse pad. About year ago i was in css clan, and my razer showed great performance. I know razer naga for a long time, so it isn't a new for me
As that video went on I got more irritated with that guy. Neat idea for a mouse and I could def see that coming in handy in an FPS. Thinking back to BF 2142 it wouldn't have been the most horrible thing to have.
