Make sure you get the old blue one, not the new orange one.

Why the blue vs. the orange?

i believe he is refering to the fact that the new orange one has less programmable keys, my brother has the old blue one which has something like 12 programable keys and the new orange one has like 6. not sure if there are any other issues with the new one.

yeah they should have renamed the orange one as it's not the same keyboard... but I don't know of any issues with it.

I'm fine with less keys as it's prolly the way I'm going to be able to get it, I honestly want eh LCD so I know who's talking in game via Vent.

yeah the lcd is pretty sweet.. I like the backlit keys to. I don't use the bindable keys that often, but I am a 1/2 clicker and 1/2 keybinder... (I bind important things to keys, but I use the mouse to click some things that I don't use as often ;))

The bindable keys are grate with the programmable macro program Logitech makes. Also, the LCD great just because of one thing: Vent Support.

why not just use vent overlay? That way you do not have to go buy a new keyboard, plus its free...

The switch from normal keyboard to game keyboard is nice too.. deactivates the stupid Windows key for you.

the 2005 version has 18 programmable keys, but you can have 3 different sets of programmable keys. so you can create 54 macro keys, which is more then I need. I like my G15. only complaint is that some of the paint, the silver part, has rubbed off.

i got my 2005 edition G15 and honestly i thought i would use the macro keys but i rarely even touch them, i would rather have the 2007 because of less keys and how the screen is situated on it. 54 programmable keys is too much for me.

Lil off topic but i love my carbon fiber G7 wireless mouse.

How do you get ventrilo to interact with your G15 LCD screen?
